A letter in the Nottingham Evening Post from an ex policeman about speed cameras in unfair places. As Transport 2000 point out, speed restriction depends on drivers believing "that there is the possibility of enforcement at any point on the road network".

Gary Lineker and Walker's Crisps
As everybody knows, Gary Lineker advertises Walkers crisps, a Pepsi owned brand that knocked out Golden Wonder and the others by quite low and very unEnglish distribution practices. The current trend in sport seems to be towards selling your services to whoever makes the highest offer, but it's a recent phenomenon and would be reversible with enough pressure. Jimmy Hill never advertised anything worse than a fake fur cossack hat.
